Student wellbeing platform

EduPulse

A C#/.NET platform in production at Vytautas Magnus University since 2024 and still maintained. Built during a supervised placement: data model, backend services, API layer and deployment, end to end.

notes

EduPulse assesses the emotional state of students taking part in STEAM activities. Students answer time-triggered questionnaires, researchers create and monitor them, and administrators analyse the aggregated results, each role seeing only what it should.

I built it in C#/.NET during a ten-week supervised placement at MB Lingo Data and owned it end to end: the data model, the backend services, the API layer and the deployment. At the end it was formally reviewed by the company mentor and my university tutor, whose written evaluation described it as a functional and well-structured system.

It went into production at Vytautas Magnus University in 2024 and is still running; I am still the person who maintains it. The interesting constraints were institutional rather than technical: real academic terms, sensitive personal data and data retention rules shape a schema far more than throughput does.
